Caring for the Leprous
Before our arrival to assume pastoral leadership at our church plant in a neglected leper colony, the people were suffering with a consistent lack of food, various basic necessities, as well as a host of untreated medical conditions.
130 people received Christ as Savior at our first ministry event here. And in following the Lord's direction to care for His people, we opened a storehouse to keep a regular food supply along with various medications for a range of specific medical conditions. The people rejoice for all that God has done for them.
Poultry Keeping Started
Suffering from the detrimental effects of advanced leprosy, this faithful Christian man still praises the Lord for his salvation.
We are regularly providing food distributions and administering necessary medication for his prescribed treatment regimen. But still, more was needed to help him with his overall heath and further supplement his diet.So, we provided for him to keep chickens at his modest residence.
He continues to praise the Lord as we care for those rejected by man, but certainly not by God.
Wheelchair Purchased
During an outreach to this nation, I had noticed that one of our church members at the leper colony was leaving a church service crawling on the ground.
Upon my inquiry, they informed me that his cart had broken, and he was forced to crawl wherever he went. I could quickly see the added hardship he had to endure.
We purchased a wheelchair for him, and he was very thankful for this great blessing in his life. He praised the Lord for taking care of him even when he has been totally rejected by his society.
Active Evangelist Receives Transport
I had met this evangelist 10 years ago, who was very active proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. But due to his severely crippling condition, this man of God was reduced to crawling from door to door to preach the Gospel. He did not let his physical limitation stop him to preach the love of Christ!
Those many years ago, we purchased this scooter to bless his life and to help him further his ministry and reach more people for Jesus. 10 years later, we met again, and he is still going strong for the Lord!
Home Built, Family Saved
This family embraced salvation in Jesus Christ at one of our outreaches. After a period of time, the husband died, and left the family destitute with no one to turn to for help in their desperate time of need.
With the direction of the Lord, we provided for them to build their own home, and we started a sewing business for her to support her family. Still caring for them over the years, they praise the Lord for His love and goodness shown to them.
Surgery for Arm Provided
This faithful Christian woman that we had previously led to the Lord, had recently fallen and fractured her arm. She was already greatly challenged to provide for herself, and there was no way to pay for this surgery on her own.
Only a few days after her accident occurred, I was already in her nation. We met with her and saw the obvious need.
The Lord directed us to provide for her surgery. Fully recovered, she continues to be a blessing to her community and praises the Lord, and for His goodness and grace bestowed upon her.
Heart Surgery Performed ~ A Life Saved
This very faithful ministry pastor desperately needed open-heart surgery to save his life. With no way to pay for this surgery himself, resources from the Lord were provided for this life-saving operation.
Now fully recovered, our pastor continues to be a great blessing to not only his family and local church where he pastors our local congregation, he is a blessing to his community and beyond! As we keep advancing the Kingdom of God into more areas, our pastor is right by our side as we harvest and disciple new believers.
Foot Treatment Provided
Our ministry pastor informed me regarding this little boy's terrible foot condition. His family had no way to pay for his treatment, as they were already struggling to provide for their daily survival.
Led by the Lord, we took him to a local physician who prescribed necessary medications to heal his painful food condition.
Now fully recovered, it is good to see that he is a playful boy again, and his family praises the Lord, and for all that He has done for them in their time of need.
Damaged Roof Repaired
During severe storms, the roof of this poor elderly woman's modest home had been damaged. Due to being alone in her hardships, and already struggling to provide for her daily needs, she had no way to repair her roof and was now exposed to the elements.
Led of the Lord, we intervened and provided much needed food, and her roof was repaired.
Even though there are still challenges, she now has adequate shelter and praises the Lord and rejoices for the love of Christ shown upon her life.
Struggling Orphanage Rescued
Following the leading of the Lord, we came to the assistance of this orphanage. They were greatly struggling to adequately provide for even the basic necessities of 40 children under their care.
We set up several micro-businesses the orphanage could operate to produce sufficient food for the orphans as well as generating income to maintain orphanage operations.
Children Rescued
Where we had helped a local orphanage with self-sustaining micro-businesses to provide for the 40 children under their care, they had discovered these children in a desperate situation.
Their parents had died, and they were left alone in an abandoned home with no other known family members and no one to care for them, they were entirely alone.
Taken to the orphanage, they arrived to loving and caring environment, and now they have a much brighter future ahead.
A Life Saved
In one of our local ministry areas, this mentally disabled young man and his brother were struggling to survive with no one else to come to their aid.
Receiving a troubling notification, this young man was very sick and starving to death. We acted quickly, brought much needed food, as well as a doctor to provide treatment to save his life.
We also repaired the damaged roof of their modest house to stop rainfall from entering. They praise the Lord for His goodness shown to them.
Caring for a Widow in Dire Need
We had conducted a crusade in an unreached area where many hundreds of people came to salvation in Jesus Christ. Among the new believers was this elderly woman and her husband. Not long afterwards, the husband had died (in the Lord) and left this woman in a destitute situation with no family to help. When we came to comfort her in this time of loss, my shirt was wet with her tears upon leaving. She has found a new family in one of our local churches, and we purchased a buffalo for her to sell the milk and generate a steady income to financially support herself.
Food for Flood Victims
During a terrible flooding event, cries for help went out, and our ministry team responded to the flood impacted areas. Food distributions were desperately needed for many people that had just lost everything. Demonstrating the love of Christ to the hurting, many lives were blessed during this catatime of loss and hardship.
Store Built for a Widow
This Christian woman was left destitute when her husband had died and placed her into a very difficult position to support herself with no one else to turn to for aid. Led of the Lord, we provided necessary resources to build a store where she sells various items to have a stable stream of income in order to support herself.
Custom Wheelchair Built
Our local ministry pastor had informed me about this disabled woman's difficult situation. Having no one to help her, she was forced to crawl everywhere she went. Due to the very remote location where she lives, there was nowhere to purchase a needed wheelchair. So, with available resources, a custom wheelchair was made specifically for her. She is now able to have a greater level of mobility and independence. She was grateful to receive this blessing in her life.
Surgery for Fractured Arm
This Christian woman had recently broken her arm. Already struggling for her daily survival, she was unable to pay for the required surgery to repair her fractured arm. Led of the Lord, we provided the necessary money for the surgery. Although she still encounters many challenges, she praises God for His goodness shown to her.
Goats for a Blind Widow
This woman had received Christ as Savior at one of our evangelistic events previously. Being blind and living alone had presented many difficulties and challenges to provide for her daily necessities. Sadly, unable to meet her basic needs, she had experienced much suffering struggling to survive.
Becoming aware of her troubling situation and guided in prayer, we provided for food to meet her immediate needs. Furthermore, we then purchased goats for her to raise and sell, with the help of her faithful neighbors, and now she is able to maintain a steady income for her support.
Provision for a Young Widow
The husband of this young Christian woman had recently died and left her and her small child in her a desperate situation. We assisted by providing food, but more was required. We then purchased a sewing machine for her. With this new stream of self-generated income, she is now able to financially provide for herself and her small child.
Food Distributions During Global Pandemic Lockdown
In obedience to the Lord's direction, we conducted numerous food distributions in several countries. Resounding in my spirit at that time was "FEED MY SHEEP" and the Lord of the harvest wonderfully provided for these food distributions from the beginning of the global lockdown. Many thousands of lives were saved, and still many more were been drawn to the loving Savior, as we continued to be the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out and blessing lives, and going into many areas where no one else was helping them to survive.
The Lord provided resources to purchase many tons of food to feed the starving. Because of the enormity of the need, we focused on feeding persecuted Christians, suffering members of our ministry church plants and their surrounding church communities, and those most severely impacted by food shortages.
